Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026
Founder Therapy ("I", "me", "my") is run by Dylan Blackman. This policy explains what personal information I collect through foundertherapy.com.au and my services, why I collect it, and how I look after it. I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What I collect
When you download a free guide or join my email list: your first name and email address.
When you book a call: your name, email address and anything you choose to share in the booking form.
When you contact me: your name, contact details and the content of your message.
When you work with me as a client: information about you and your situation that you share in sessions. This can include health information, such as how you are feeling and coping. I treat this as confidential and handle it with extra care (see below).
When you visit the website: technical information such as your browser, device, pages visited and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How I use it
To send you what you asked for, such as a free guide, and the emails that follow it.
To send you occasional emails about my work. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
To arrange and run calls and sessions with you.
To reply to your enquiries.
To understand how the website and my advertising are performing, and to show my ads to people likely to find them useful.
I do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The website uses cookies and similar technologies, including:
Squarespace, which hosts the website and records basic site analytics.
The Meta Pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone visits the site or signs up after seeing one of my ads. This helps me measure my ads and show them to relevant people. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you, under its own privacy policy.
Klaviyo, which powers my sign-up forms and email list.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. Blocking cookies won't stop the site from working.
Who I share it with
I use trusted service providers to run my business, and they only receive what they need to do their job:
Klaviyo (email marketing and sign-up forms)
Squarespace (website hosting)
Google (calendar booking and email)
Meta (advertising measurement)
Some of these providers store data overseas, including in the United States. I choose providers that have appropriate security and privacy protections in place.
I will only disclose your information to anyone else if you agree, or if the law requires or allows it.
Client information and confidentiality
What you share with me as a client stays confidential. I don't share it with anyone without your consent, except where the law requires it or where there is a serious risk to your safety or someone else's. Session notes are stored securely and kept only as long as they need to be.
Keeping your information secure
I take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. This includes using reputable, secure service providers and limiting who can access your information.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it. Email me and I'll respond within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question about this policy or a concern about how I've handled your information, email me at dylan@foundertherapy.com.au. I'll aim to respond within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
